San Diego Business Journal Reveals Top 100 Honorees
SAN DIEGO, CA – September 18, 2009 – The Active Network, Inc. (Active), a leading provider of technology and marketing solutions for community service and sports organizations, today announced it has been named one of San Diego’s 100 fastest-growing private companies by the San Diego Business Journal. Active ranked 10, up from 31 the previous year, with two year revenue growth of 170 percent.
With $173 million in revenues and 434 San Diego employees in 2008, Active was also the ninth highest revenue-producing company and the sixth largest employer on the list. This is the company’s third consecutive year as one of San Diego’s 100 fastest-growing private companies and the first time Active has been recognized as one of San Diego’s top ten organizations.
