In his new role, Davis will work with Active.com to motivate and inspire people of all fitness levels to lead healthy, active lives through participation in sports and activities.
Davis has drawn nationwide attention following the debut of his inspirational YouTube video about his one and a half year journey to lose weight. After weighing in at 360 pounds and battling depression in 2008, Davis made a decision to change his life. What began as a short jog, led to the completion of a local 5K, followed by triathlons and eventually three marathons. On August 29, 2010, Davis completed Ford Ironman Louisville. He has lost more 120 pounds and is now an inspiration for countless others who want to make positive, healthy changes in their lives.

"Our message and goals within the fitness community are completely parallel and I’m looking forward to working to make those goals happen as an Active.com team member."
Davis will serve as an ambassador for Active.com at future running and triathlon events as he continues his journey to maintain a healthy lifestyle and inspire others to reach their personal goals. Additionally, Davis will share his experiences and interact with others on Active.com community boards and social media channels.
