ReserveAmerica Announces America’s 2010 “Rangers of the Year”

Nominated by Camping Enthusiasts, Award Honors Five of the Nation’s Best Park Rangers

San Diego, CA – July 21, 20010ReserveAmerica, part of the Active Network and the United States’ leading recreation reservation service, today announced the winners of the America’s “Ranger of the Year” award. Nominated by outdoor enthusiasts, this year’s Ranger of the Year award recognizes five of the country’s most dedicated park rangers who provide exemplary services to campers and are committed to preserving the natural resources of their park.

Frank Martin of Lake Bistineau State Park in Doyline, La., was awarded the “Gold Medal Ranger of the Year” and four finalists received the “Silver Medal Ranger of the Year” award as a testament to their commitment and hard work.

“ReserveAmerica’s Ranger of the Year award acknowledges outstanding leaders who consistently go the extra mile to provide a safe, fun and beautiful environment for campers to enjoy,” explained David Dutch, general manager for Active Network’s Outdoors division. “We commend these rangers on receiving this noteworthy achievement and applaud each winner for their dedication to the park service.”
