Through the new multi-year deal, Active will now provide media buying services and create advertising campaigns for marketers interested in reaching this audience.

“With tennis participation at its highest in the U.S. in the last 20 years, tennis is enjoying a resurgence, and the USTA continually looks for new ways to capitalize on that growth,” said Harlan Stone, chief business and marketing officer, USTA. “By expanding our partnership with Active, we can utilize their expertise in the active consumer market to attract new online advertisers.”

Since 2006, Active and USTA have partnered to build a tennis community, through online solutions, for both tennis organizers and players, focused on increasing participation. Active also hosts and supports the USTA’s TennisLink infrastructure, the registration and match-result system for USTA Leagues, USTA Junior Team Tennis and USTA tournaments.

“We are thrilled to build on our successful three-year relationship with the USTA and add USTA.com to our premier list of media properties that we use to connect advertisers with active-minded consumers,” said Jon Belmonte, chief operating officer, the Active Network. “With more than 30 million tennis players in the U.S, advertisers looking to maximize their reach in the tennis market should use USTA.com, the largest tennis website.”
