Active Network to power USM EVENTS with Online Data Management, Registration, Website and Ecommerce tools
SAN DIEGO, CA –August 4, 2010 – USM EVENTS, a leading event organizer for sport and cultural events in Australia, and The Active Network, Inc., a worldwide technology and media company, today announced a technology agreement that enables USM EVENTS to streamline its online technology and registration process and provide a better online experience to the 250,000 people who participate in their events each year.
USM EVENTS has 28 years of experience managing many of Australia’s top endurance events including the award-winning Noosa Triathlon Multi Sports Festival, which attracts more than 10,000 competitors from around the globe. Using hosted, online technology from Active Network, USM EVENTS will offer participants improved online access to register for events, pay fees, purchase merchandise and view up-to-date event information.
