Company Expands Global Customer Reach with Enterprise Technology Serving Ski and Destination Resorts
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – November 10, 2011 – The Active Network, Inc.. (NYSE: ACTV), the leading provider of organization-based cloud computing applications, today announced the acquisition of RTP, LLC, an enterprise solutions company serving the ski resort market. RTP’s technology changes the way ski resorts manage everything from selling tickets, activities and rentals. Central to this is RTP|One™, a sophisticated commerce engine that processes transactions on-premise, online, via mobile, and in third-party sales channels through the cloud. The integrated set of technologies captures customer transactional data for analysis and marketing.
