ACTIVE Works® Outdoors Solution to Help Streamline Licensing Operations and Provide Greater Convenience and Access to the Province’s Constituents
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. — October 23, 2012 — ACTIVE Network (NYSE: ACTV), the leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ (APM), today announced that the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment is automating its hunting, trapping and angling licensing through the Company’s ACTIVE Works® Outdoors solution to make the process easier and more convenient for provincial constituents.

Saskatchewan issues more than 170,000 hunting and 185,000 angling licenses each year. According to the Ministry, hunting & fishing licensing contributes roughly $40 million to the GDP and over 2,500 direct jobs. By automating their systems, the Ministry can help improve:
- Revenue collection
- Financial management
- Game harvest reporting
- Centralized program reporting and administration
- Data management
- Customer service for the general public via call centers
- Support for the license issuers
