What RFPs Mean to SMBs: Turning Headaches into Opportunities
iMeet, a global social network for event planners and suppliers, recently surveyed 190 event planners at Small to Mid-sized Businesses* to explore where they are today with regard to hotel and venue sourcing for meetings and events. Among the findings, 43% of survey participants reported using multiple separate technology tools throughout the planning and management process, such as Excel® and Outlook®. Additionally, survey participants who leverage professional sourcing technology said they receive responses to RFPs from hotels more quickly than those who don’t. This session will review the survey results and present solutions for event planners of all levels experience to increase the efficiency of their work in order to focus less time on logistical details, and more time creating the best event experience possible.
