SAN DIEGO, Calif.— June 25, 2014 – ACTIVE Network ®, the leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ solutions prepares its journey to Chicago, Illinois to support 4,000 athletes competing in the only United States event location of the 2014 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Triathlon Series (WTS) on June 27-29. The ITU World Triathlon Chicago is hosted by USA Triathlon, the National Governing Body for the sport, and Lagardere Unlimited Events North America. The City of Chicago will welcome the world’s top Olympic-distance elite triathletes as one of the stops on the WTS, alongside such cities as Auckland, Cape Town, Yokohama, London, Hamburg, Stockholm and Edmonton to crown the World Champions in Triathlon.
