SAN DIEGO, Calif. — January 21, 2014 — ACTIVE Network celebrates its 12th year with the Tour of the California Alps – Death Ride®. The “Death Ride®” is hosted by the Alpine County Chamber of Commerce as an annual fundraiser and has evolved over the last 34 years into a premiere west coast cycling event. The course covers 129 miles and 15,000+ feet of climbing and continues to sell-out year-after-year with riders from around the world.
