Strategic Deal Provides Timers and Even Organizers Unprecedented Access to Integrated Payment Capabilities, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
DALLAS – February 9, 2015 – ACTIVE Network® today announced the acquisition of IPICO Sports, a leading global timing company, and plans to integrate IPICO’s solutions into its existing event lifecycle management portfolio. The integration of IPICO will expand on ACTIVE’s real-time, on-site capabilities and provide a comprehensive solution that includes timing, data, analytics, and insights that are needed by Timing Managers and Event Organizers to make business decisions, increase participation, and drive growth of their events.
