New App Called ‘Track Meet Mobile’ Puts Meet Schedules, Heat Sheets and Results Quickly and Conveniently Into the Hands of Participants and Spectators around the World
Dallas – June 11, 2015 ACTIVE Network®, the global leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ and data solutions, today launched its new ACTIVE Network Hy-Tek Sports Software® Track Meet Mobile App for Track and Field. Track Meet Mobile is an extension of ACTIVE Hy-Tek Track and Field Meet Manager 5.0, and delivers official track and field meet results to athletes, coaches, meet hosts and fans – allowing them to access critical event-related information from nearly anywhere, at any time. The Track Meet Mobile app is available immediately and can be downloaded from the Google Play and iTunes App Store.
Track Meet Mobile ensures results and standings are quickly available to participants and spectators once the meet host has published heat and flight results from ACTIVE Hy-Tek Track and Field Meet Manager 5.0, improving the experience of the event and the host’s ability to facilitate competition. Athletes and coaches will now have easy access to their schedules, be able to follow the action in real-time and see their standings as the meet happens. Spectators can now easily view the meet schedule and follow a favorite athlete or team. This is especially helpful since many events occur simultaneously with track and field meets, and since often times, some events occur outside of the stadium.
