ACTIVE’s Solutions to Enhance Event Experiences for Nearly One Million URun Participants
Dallas – December 27, 2016 – ACTIVE Network®, the premier global marketplace for activities and events and an industry-leading provider of data solutions, today announced a multi-year agreement with URun, LLC to provide the full suite of ACTIVE event management technologies across its 120 events globally, including the Blacklight Run, Foam Glow 5K, Bubble Run, Terrain Racing, Glow Wars and the Blacklight Slide series. Committed to delivering race experiences that benefit a variety of children’s causes, URun will use ACTIVEWorks® Endurance, a centralized participant and event management platform, to more easily, intuitively, and securely manage the entire lifecycle of each URun event, which includes everything from pre-event marketing to online registration, event check-ins, participant communications, volunteer schedules, and business intelligence.
URun selected the robust ACTIVEWorks Endurance platform as a result of ACTIVE’s track record for providing secure, comprehensive, scalable, and reliable technology and services to the world’s largest endurance events. More than an event registration platform, ACTIVEWorks Endurance seamlessly provides unmatched marketing services that include built-in social media engagement and email marketing tools as well as data insights and personalized digital marketing consultation. Additionally, URun can now manage event-day check-ins via the ACTIVE On-Site™ mobile application, a streamlined and intuitive way for event organizers to process on-site race-day registrations, race payments, and participant check-ins. URun participants will receive ACTIVE Virtual Event Bags™, a virtual platform providing participants with valuable merchandise offers from sponsors and supporters prior to and after race day.
