SAN DIEGO, CA - March 11, 2008 - The Active Network, Inc. Kemper brings more than 25 years experience in finance and will be responsible for overseeing the corporate finance, accounting, investor relations and human resources functions.
Prior to The Active Network, Kemper was chief financial officer of DexCom, Inc., a medical technology company that he took public on NASDAQ in 2005. Earlier in his career, Kemper led the financial team for General Instrument’s Satellite TV business (now Motorola Broadband), which grew to over $500 million in revenues during his tenure. Additionally, Kemper has raised half a billion dollars in public and private equity and debt for emerging growth companies.

Kemper holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Science, Accountancy, degree from San Diego State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego. Kemper replaces Norman Dowling who served as CFO and executive vice president. During Dowling’s tenure, the company’s revenues grew from $44 million to over $100 million.
