Registration Protection Product Terms

This document is a “Product Attachment” as defined in the General Terms entered into by Client and Active and is subject to and incorporates by reference the provisions of the General Terms. This Product Attachment is effective as of the date it is “accepted” (in accordance with the Preamble to the General Terms). Any capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.

1. DESCRIPTION OF OFFER. The reservation path will include an offer to purchase a product, called “Registration Protection” that allows a registrant to protect the registration costs and associated fees for the applicable Event, if the registrant suffers an injury, illness or other covered situation prior to the applicable Event. Additionally, a registrant’s action (opting-in or out) has no impact on the completion of the reservation process.

Active will be responsible for administration and customer service issues with respect to the offer.

Active may discontinue the offer and/or terminate this Product Attachment at any time at its sole discretion.

2. FEES. Active will pay Client a fee of 10% of the amount collected from registrants for sales of the Registration Protection product purchased in connection with registrations for Client’s Events. Active may modify the fee at any time at its sole discretion, with or without notice to Client. Moreover, Active has the right to offset any amounts owed by Client to Active by reducing the fees owed by Active to Client pursuant to this Product Attachment.

3. PAYMENTS. Fees will be paid 90 days from the end of each calendar year following the integration of the offer. Fees will be calculated solely based on purchases of the Registration Protection product that follow the acceptance of this Product Attachment. Each party is responsible for its own taxes, duties and any other charges in relation to the offer and the fees.
